We are pleased to announce xorlab's latest funding round. Spicehaus Partners led the round as lead investor to support the continued growth and international expansion of one of Switzerland's leading cybersecurity companies. The ETH spin-off protects companies against a new generation of email attacks. Using Behavioral AI, xorlab detects sophisticated phishing and business email compromise attacks that are increasingly difficult for conventional filters to identify.
Close to 100 companies across a broad range of industries, including CERN, Coop, FINMA, Implenia, Julius Baer, SBB, Swiss Post, Swisscom, Vontobel and Zürcher Kantonalbank, rely on xorlab's solution.
Strong and growing demand from European companies for powerful, sovereign cybersecurity solutions is accelerating the international expansion of xorlab's customer base, particularly across DACH, Benelux and the Nordics.
In addition, xorlab benefits from structural tailwinds driven by AI-based cyberattacks, increasing regulation and Europe's push for digital sovereignty.
Spicehaus has invested in xorlab through the Spicehaus Swiss Venture Fund since 2020. With this new funding round, we are once again substantially increasing our commitment. Why we continue to invest:
- Email remains one of the most critical attack surfaces for companies. At the same time, AI is fundamentally changing the sophistication and scalability of cyberattacks.
- Europe's increasing focus on keeping critical digital infrastructure and data under its own control creates an additional significant market opportunity.
- We are convinced that xorlab has the technology, the trust of demanding enterprise customers and the market position to build Europe's leading email security company.
